Macroview OPC Server

The MacroView OPC Server provides a real-time data communications bridge between any OPC Client and MacroView using the open standard OPC Data Access specifications, OPC DA V2.0 and V3.0.

This functionality benefits many sites that use hardware and software devices from multiple vendors.  In utilising devices with the OPC standard, compatibility is ensured and it provides the flexibility to access to real time data from OPC devices available in the market.

The MacroView OPC Server functionality allows an OPC Client program to communicate with the MacroView Server as well as other OPC data servers.   The most common way to arrange this communication is to have the MacroView OPC Server talking to a single MacroView Server, however in the case of a site in which multiple, distributed MacroView servers are used, a single OPC server can act as the communications bridge between these servers and any OPC client. The OPC clients can communicate throught the MacroView OPC Server with any or all of the MacroView Servers.
